The smartorque control is a state-of-the-art scale and flux vector drive for overhead cranes. This course begins with the fundamentals of adjustable frequency drives, then educates participants on the system specific details. This course is a combination of classroom and laboratory work.
This 3-day course assists our customers by gaining the knowledge to keep their DC Crane Control Systems performing at peak levels. This course teaches the different methods of controlling D.C. motors as used on cranes. Block diagrams of various manufacturers’ controls are utilized to explain the operation of a crane application. DC motor basics and preventive maintenance are also covered in detail. Additionally, the course covers proper preventive maintenance procedures and alignment for D.C. motor controls.
Combination of Mechanical Maintenance and Electrical Maintenance back-to-back days. To include 1 additional day of hands-on.
Combination of Mechanical Maintenance and Electrical Maintenance back-to-back days.
This 3-day course provides a comprehensive understanding of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) in crane and hoist systems. It covers the theory, design, components, and troubleshooting of VFDs with a strong focus on safety and hands-on application. Participants will learn how VFDs influence motor performance, interpret technical data, and apply best practices for safe, efficient crane operation.
Highlights electrical maintenance procedures for all types of A.C. crane controls including A.C. full magnetic, stepless, and adjustable frequency dries and is considered the basic orientation to electrical maintenance.
This 2-day course equips participants with standardized methods for diagnosing and resolving structural, drive machinery, and hoist issues in overhead cranes. It also covers the development of effective preventive maintenance programs. Each attendee receives a detailed workbook for future reference. The practical knowledge gained will help reduce equipment downtime and minimize injury risks from improper crane operation.
This advanced 5-day course is designed for experienced and trained crane operators. It combines classroom learning with practical, hands-on training focused on SMARTON crane features and setup. Individual operator hands-on instruction with a Konecranes trainer is strongly recommended. Participants receive a comprehensive workbook for future reference. The knowledge gained will help reduce crane downtime and mitigate safety risks.
This course is based upon Konecranes Smart Crane products, including the Smarton (SMT) series, and the CXT series cranes. This course will give students the opportunity to explore the intelligent liftng features, and how to best utiliize them in your production envrionment. This course does expect the student to hava a basic crane operator’s skill.
This 5-day course provides maintenance and technical personnel with in-depth knowledge of static stepless systems and is offered exclusively at our Springfield training center.
