General description
This course includes classroom and hands-on training for bucket crane operators. Major crane components, protective devices and safe operating procedures are covered in detail. Seasoned and novice operators alike will benefit from information concerning crane construction, crane controls, controlling load swings, and pre-operational inspections. OSHA requirements for cab location, clearance, access to crane and cab, fixed ladders/stairways, and steps over gaps for entry per codes for Fixed Ladders.
